A worker logs into APP (e.g., Start of shift, arrival at location)
The worker then chooses location if applicable (e.g., Area within building or factory)

The system lets them know if they are currently a lone worker or if someone else is in the areas, and the worker acknowledges this.

If they are not a lone worker, or if they join an area where someone else is already working, their timer will not start, and the other workers(s) in the area who is logged in, their timer will not restart and each worker will be notified that they are not in-fact alone worker.

The countdown timer is specified by the client, and the protocol in event of a problem is also predetermined by the client.

At all times while logged in, workers have the opportunity to press a distress/emergency button which will instantly begin the protocols to deal with that workers duress. These are customisable by worker, employer and location.

At the end of work/shift/ leaving an area or building, the worker logs out and the system adapts accordingly.

For buildings or areas where workers will need to move around, QR codes are available to simplify these moves.
